Just Horsing Around
There I was walking along an empty college corridor with a woman a few paces in front of me, I'm kinda day dreaming reading a text message, when I start clicking my tongue in time with the noise of the girl's heels in front of me..."clip clop clip clop"- then I was completely unaware that she had stopped and was now looking straight at me with pure disdain...panicking I had no choice but to continue "clip clop clip clopping" as I walked past her...ah yes, as I always say its the little things.

Behold the Nicholas!
(Enter Nicholas, he lets out a manly roar): AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH! I feel such a man, You see there are a number of things that help a man feel manly. (Enter large gentials reference here). These include things such as being able to top up the petrol or diesel in your car, to the exact amount without going over by even a single cent. Opening a particularly tough jar in just one go. Having a barmaid ask if "your having your usual?", Refitting a plug, changing a pipe and checking a fuse box. Ah yes; Ecco Homo indeed - behold the man!........however this feeling of strenght should never be said aloud in the company of women since a simple 'tut' or sometimes even a glance can deflate you in seconds so the next time you feel confident and manly because of something you've done, for god sake keep it to yourself and enjoy it.

Diy - why do I try?
attempted to repair my own brakes in the micra today, apparently a small car contains roughly 30,000 parts, the brake calliper in my micra would seem to contain a total of 29,998 of these. It cost me 60 euro to get a qualified person to repair my repair...would I do it again...of course.

T.S Eliot - Prufrock
Let us go then, you and I,
When the evening is spread out against the sky
And indeed there will be time
To wonder, “Do I dare?” and, “Do I dare?”
Do I dare
Disturb the universe?
In a minute there is time
For decisions and revisions which a minute will reverse.
For I have known them all already, known them all:
Have known the evenings, mornings, afternoons,
I have measured out my life with coffee spoons;
I know the voices dying with a dying fall
Beneath the music from a farther room.
So how should I presume?
And I have known the arms already, known them all–
Arms that are braceleted and white and bare
(But in the lamplight, downed with light brown hair!)
Is it perfume from a dress
That makes me so digress?
And would it have been worth it, after all,
After the cups, the marmalade, the tea,
Among the porcelain, among some talk of you and me,
Would it have been worth while,
To have bitten off the matter with a smile
And would it have been worth it, after all,
Would it have been worth while,
After the sunsets and the dooryards and the sprinkled streets,
After the novels, after the teacups, after the skirts that trail along the floor–
And this, and so much more?–
I grow old … I grow old …
I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled
Shall I part my hair behind? Do I dare to eat a peach?
I shall wear white flannel trousers, and walk upon the beach.
I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each.
I do not think that they wil sing to me.
When the evening is spread out against the sky
And indeed there will be time
To wonder, “Do I dare?” and, “Do I dare?”
Do I dare
Disturb the universe?
In a minute there is time
For decisions and revisions which a minute will reverse.

Windmills of their mind
I was asked today if windmills are solar powered? I smiled, it was good.*
*yes, I am aware that nearly every form of energy is ulitmately solar, since without the Sun there would be no wind, but you get the initial point and silliness of the question, so feck off.

Hippy hippy shake
You know that song by Shakira 'My Hips Don't Lie', wouldn't that just be plain awesome. There you are going out with Shakira and not only that, but also she can never lie to you. Picture it, "Shakira where were you last?", you ask and she replies with a deadly serious face, "I was with a few of my girlie friends, you know, chatting about hair and nails and hitting pillows off each other with only sexy underwear on"*. But her hips defy her, and they start shaking like crazy. "God damn it Shakira! you were with that dang Jose, the pool boy, again weren't you?". Ah yes, Shakira; the modern day Pinocchio! except it isn't 'noses' that get bigger by her shaking those hips..[insert penis reference here].
*this is what all ladies do as far as I know, when they are alone with other lady friends, it seemed like a logical example to use.
